Types of menus for sites

In the not too far future I will be changing the menu system on the home page at: http://www.cavernsofblood.com/

The menu on the left just does not show up enough. The sub-menu items are too hard to see. I will keep the cool background and header.

What is your favorite type of menu on sites?

You might wanty to check out flashvortex at http://www.flashvortex.com/index.php...y&categoryId=2 which is what I use at all of my sites including http://castleofevil.com they are very easy to build and look great! Need any help with flash coding, just let me know!
